This morning, ascend to the majestic Citadel of Salah Ed-Dine, a medieval fortress perched on the city's heights, overlooking Cairo with quiet authority since the 12th century. From its ramparts, the panorama of the city and the distant pyramids is breathtaking. Inside, the splendid Mosque of Mohammed Ali with its alabaster dome immerses you in an atmosphere of absolute serenity and grandeur.

The afternoon is dedicated to one of the most anticipated appointments of the tour: the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo. A true treasure chest of Antiquity, it houses over 120,000 archaeological pieces, including the famous royal mummies, finely crafted golden sarcophagi, and the world's most precious treasure: the solid gold funerary mask of Tutankhamun, which you can admire just a few centimeters away.

Today, Egypt offers you another face — that of the Mediterranean.

Early morning departure towards the northern coast to reach Alexandria, the legendary city founded by Alexander the Great in 331 BC, former intellectual capital of the ancient world and birthplace of the famous Library of Alexandria. As soon as you arrive, the salty air and the white light of the Mediterranean envelop you — a striking and refreshing contrast to the heat of Cairo's desert.

On the agenda: a visit to the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century fortress built on the exact site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Then, the magnificent Abu Al Abbas Al Mursi Mosque, a masterpiece of Islamic architecture whose white minarets are reflected in the port waters.
